What is YOUR genre?

    Genre?

    I don't generally write in genre. However, I suppose that I am Horror writer. But, that is only here say. For I let my setting, plot, and characters dictate what I write. For the time being, I am a Horror writer.

    a lot of my ideas and stories are based in horror i guess, but this is not my genre per se as i write in many different genres and mediums

    Good stuff here. I was referring more to story development but you make a great point about developing your writing style. I gotta say my biggest influences are Hemingway, Crichton, and Michael A. Stackpole (more for his story telling skills rather than his writing style). I always try to figure out what makes them so great.
