Oh wow I have definitely opened up a can of worms with this question....

*facepalm* This kind of ...intensity... about the topic of bullying is why I chose a different idea for my story completely unrelated to bullies. Maybe if I was a more experienced and politically correct writer, I would try to tackle it, but I don't think I'm ready at the moment.

You shouldn't avoid a topic you want to address because it makes you or anyone else feel uncomfortable. Progress would not be made if you didn't.

Go ahead with your new idea. This wasn't a bad one, but like any good writing, it will take a lot of research. Thornesque is write. Today's bullies aren't really selective Most of them just enjoy exerting power over others. Don't be afraid to write about a bully, but be careful about how you create them. They can be pretty complex characters most of the time.

I do really like your new idea, and I'm already much more interested in it as well.

Thanks, Andrae :) I've already started on the new idea, but I'm not very far yet. (Like page 4 on a Word document.) We haven't met the serial killer or even gone to the high school yet :p
