I had a couple inches of snow, which in my parking lot is now a quarter inch of ice. As for that driver, the civil cases will nail him. Two 6-family units burned to the ground, a third one damaged, and about 30 cars damaged or destroyed. I feel awful for those people, having to run for their lives in pajamas and robes from a wall of flame, as everything they own is destroyed. It's a miracle no one was killed.
The people all thought it was a terrorist attack, even the police. Cars were exploding all up and down the street. Not only did these people lose their homes, but also their cars. Do you think they'll go after him and the company he works for, or just him?
i have my 'dinner' around 2pm, don't eat another meal after that... today, i'll probably have some of the left-over fettucine i cooked up yesterday for a yummy w/broccoli alfredo feast, but will have it with marinara sauce this time, for variety... more broccoli, or a salad on the side... looooove that pasta! [could happily eat pasta every day of my life, actually... sicilian/italian genes are strong!]
Yeah I was making V for Vendetta sig and found a pic of the plain anarchy V. I messed with it putting it on my avatar but didn't like it too much so I swtiched it back.
Probably both. There's not much chance of collecting from him, but they'll probably hold the company liable for his actions in their employ. Doncha just love lawyers? He'll undoubtedly never drive a rig again, at least. Anyway (back on topic), time for me to stop at the store for meat loaf ingredients, then home to get it into the oven. Back in a while...
Everyone is going to attend to their lives, leaving me as the only sad warrior to fight the good fight
I'll fight with you Banzai! CHARGE! *Banzai runs forward while I turn around and run in the other direction*
never heard so many males talk about cooking something. must be my age. I had friends telling me it was terrible that I had my sons learning how to cook proper meals when they were young. But they were more upset about the housecleaning chores. But now they can eat more cheaply and better than heading for Big macs and pizzas. In Canada in the morning you head for Timmy's as that has the best coffee you can get anywhere. they actually have one in Afganistan for the soldiers over there. The real name is Tim Hortons and was started by the famous NHL hockey player so it really is all Canadian.
Cooking is a creative outlet for me. And I like good food anyway. Both my kids enjoy cooking too. My son likes to cook spicy food, as do I. My daughter started college in a Cordon Bleu culinary arts school, before she switched to Graphic Arts.
IF I can get going today, I will cooking a roast up. Roast lamb.. Roast spuds, roast carrots, roast pumpkin, boiled cabbage and cauliflower and not to mention using the pan juices to make a gravy for it all.... Ack.. my heart is clogging at teh thought and my pants are even popping open to allow room! And breakfast? I don't generally have breakfast during the week except on tuesdays because I actually have time to have breakfast. But on weekends we have hashbrowns and eggs on toast! YUM! and I don't drink coffee or tea. And I can't really have cereal because that generally requires milk which in turn upsets my stomach... :/
I just watched my dog eat half of his own turd after doing it. I had to share because I had to glimpse it. And don't say don't watch the eyes always look when they shouldn't Damn dog.
Why does it not put my words in capital letters? The last line above was all in capital letters! Why does it do that?!
What.... You just imagine it. I had to physically watch him toss it up in the air then half break away on his nose as he chompped down on the half he caught in his mouth.....
