I'm going to be honest, I only read the first post, so I'm sorry if this has been said! I always remember my dreams, and they're always very vivid and sometimes very epic. The point of view always changes and I always move very fast, like if I'm walking up to a house that's half a mile away, I'll be at the door in two seconds somehow. My dreams rarely make sense, so there are many things that seem out of place, and the people in my dreams never seem to notice that anything is odd, like seeing strange faces in windows or being outside under sinister storm clouds, etc. Keep in mind that dream settings and what happens in your dreams are your brain's way of making sense of your life's problems. In your dreams, you're often forced to face what you fear, what you desire, and what you're trying to hide, which could make for some interesting scenarios in a story!
Hope this helped at least a little bit!
