When you have a stressful story...

Discussion in 'General Writing' started by A.L.Mitchell, Jul 19, 2012.

When you have a stressful story, how great does it feels to get it finish. I am so happy, as this story and this character have been a pain for like a month, but I am there. Have any other writer have a story that they were glad to see the back on and is looking forward to doing a new one?

Yes! I struggled through a story which I chose to write in diary format without a storyline. It just kept going on and on. I was glad to see it come to an end.
Unfortunately, I was never pleased with the results. But I was proud that I actually got something down on paper.

Now , when I decide to rework the story - I'll have something to work with.
It was the most ambitious story I ever undertook so there was a mixture of elation and disapointment.
