    Life

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Raven, Aug 21, 2007.

Do you ever wake up in the morning and get that feeling that no matter what you do your going to have a bad day.

And throughout that day everything that can go wrong does and the more you try to prevent it the worse you make it.

And throughout the day you feel phased as though you're half a sleep but fully awake.

Life just dishes out the wierdest of experiences doesn't it though.

That sounds depressingly like a college day....

    Particularly this part:

But hopefully when I get back to college after the holidays, things will be a little bit better, thanks to recent occurances. Of course, it could go the other way, but I'm trying to be an optomist :p

Raven you just described my entire day in one post!

I was like that all day today going backwards and forwards to the Doctor's Surgery and the hospital.

But yes I know all too well what those days are like and today really has been one.

Oh and Banzai, things always get better. You just gotta look at the brighter side of things. There is a silver lining to every situation if you care enough to look for one.

    <where is that dang rock?>

Been there done that. Wait I still do that.

Usually when I feel like that I do my best to just stay home. No point in going out unless I absolutely have to.
And when I do have to go out, I just glare at everyone, except friends, so they leave me alone and don't make the day worse.
    That usually helps.

Lmao. I seem to have days like that all the time lately, usually characterised by me just giving up and lying on my bed and using the laptop :p

Can't hide forever though! No point avoiding the inevitable. I don't see the point in hiding from it all. May as well face it, cause tomorrow you will/may get a good laugh at it!

Lol yeah but if I do avoid it and sit on the laptop I can talk to my friends in the hopes that they'll cheer me up, or if not at least share in my misery :D I'm selfless and share like that...

    Doesn't that damage your laptop?
Or at least get really uncomfortable?

    I'll be good now.

Well today is still a crap day.

I told my Dog Duke off for climbing up the unit and pinching my beef sandwich. I then sat at pc to find it there waiting for me. So I then had to give Duke one half of my twix to appologise doggy style.

    Not a good day.

And I've been sat here struggling through an essay on TS Eliot's "The Waste Lands". It's a great poem, but my God is it dense. I've just about finished writing about the first section (of five), and have written about a thousand words. Which isn't good, considering I have to fit it all into 4000 words. Bloody Eliot...

Dogs. like children, need to be reminded sometimes who the Aplha Dog is. It is embarassing when you take them down a notch when they are innocent, but all told, they actually enjoy the security of knowing where they are in the pack order.

Duke certainly does. I rarely tell him off. He's the most loyal of the three. And were I go he is always behind following. When I sleep the daft bugger takes me pillow and cuddles into me. So we allow him in our room. He's the youngest he replaced another friend I lost called Jazz, who was 11 when he passed away. We've actually had Duke a year and two weeks. We had him from 4 weeks.

Oh my god how mean! See I knew you were evil! *Sticks tongue out*

And you were complaining you wouldn't write enough??

Just keep at it, you're intelligent enough to write a very good piece and you need to get yourself into your chosen university! So don't give up!! Or else!
