    Um...I'm somewhere...but I don't quite know where.

    Woof...er...howl...er...hello?

    Hellooooooooooooooo! :D
I'm new to the site but definitely not one to writing.
    All good writers read, wright?
    Well I'm reading...um...1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 books at the moment.
Please don't ask me why, I'm just bookey, O.K? (does booky have an 'e' in it or not?) Oh, and I like Wolves, Harry Potter , and Doctor Who! :)
Oh, well. I'm a bit of a poet (and don't even know it. (if you'll pardon the cliché!)), and I tend to write shorter stories, although I'm going for a 50,000 word novel in November for Nation Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). I tend to write comedy, sci-fi or horror, but a fair bit of my stuff is unintentional fluff.

    AIR-HUG!!!!!!!

    (In-Joke. Sorry.)

    Hey there.
Welcome to the forums and such. : )
And Doctor Who is awesome. (Well, I personally prefer the Tom Baker version, but yeah..)

    Have fun. : p

    Not a whole lot, actually.

I definitely don't like the new doctor though. For one reason or another I've always felt the doctor should be "ugly/quirky", and this new doctor seems to be good looking and whatnot. It's frustrating. Lol.

And Tom Baker's scarf is the epitome of awesomeness.

Hello Lone Wolf, Welcome to the Writing Forums.

If you haven't explored the site yet, you should probably do so soon. Newcomers often gravitate to the Lounge, the Word Games, or the Review Room, but there is much more to be discovered if you poke in the corners.

As for the Review Room, new joiners often wonder why we do things a bit differently on this site than on other writing sites. We emphasize reviewing as a critical writing skill. Training your eye by reviewing other people's work helps you improve your own writing even before you present it for others to see. Therefore, we ask members to review other people's writing before posting work of their own. The Review Room on this site, therefore, is a true workshop, not just a bulletin board for displaying your work. See this post, Why Write Reviews Before Posting My Work? for more information.

Enjoy your stay here, and have fun!

    Wow!
I'm actually very impressed with the speed people replied with! In other forums, although they're not writing forums, you can sometimes post a 'hello! I'm new!' style post, and for it never to be replied.
    Thankies.

Happy belated welcome to the site! I hope you're settling in alright and that you'll forgive my very late welcome.

I too will be "attempting" NaNoWriMo but I get easily distracted...
