    thirty-day, money-back guarantee?

Discussion in 'Word Mechanics' started by dillseed, Apr 19, 2014.

Is the comma required in the following? I say no.

    a thirty-day, money-back guarantee

    a no-risk, ninety-day trial

    And:

I think that "mid to late fifties" does not require any hyphens. It's clear enough without them. Do you concur?

    Thanks.

to answer your question, if it's fiction then both instances are optional, up to the author's own style... if non-fiction, it could depend on the publication's house style...
