Let's call it "Words I Misspell the First Time and Have to Go Back and Correct"

    Similitude and simultaneous

    Curiosity (what, it's not "curiousity"?)

Mispronouncing them in my head as spelled helps me get them right.

In truth, residents of Worcester (Massachusetts) often pronounce it "Wisteh".

I just failed to spell "fraught" in any way that the spell checker would recognize. I plugged it into google and spelled it right without thinking about it.

To be honest I'm not the best speller in the world, but there are always words that I can never ever EVER spell right.

Anyone else get it where you write out a familiar word, but something about it just looks off. And then you try to write it again to see if that's right, and nothing works - so you google it, had it right first time, now the word looks so alien you start doubting your own sanity? Yeah, I get that sometimes. And it blows.

It's not so much my spelling but my typing. Hestitation regularly gets typed as... well, you can see for yourselves. I'm well aware that first 't' isn't supposed to be there, but even being aware of my propensity to type the extra one, it somehow manages to appear each and every time I type the word.

Yeah, there are some words I struggle to type, for some reason. Not to spell, but to type. One of them is 'Scotland.' I so often type 'Scoland' and leave out the 't.' Incredibly frustrating. Mind you some people in these parts pronounce it like that, so maybe it's subliminally rubbed off on me!

School. Yeah, I know it doesn't give a smart expression of me. Expression, that's another problematic word.
