Just wondering, in your opinion, how long a piece of writing needs to be (at the very least a novella) I'm asking this because one of the books I'm writing at the moment has 26,882 words, and will be finished (first draft) in just over 3 chapters time (av. 1,800-2,500 words a chapter) Thanks
A quick google would have given you the answer I'm about to give: it said between 20-40K. (some even said up to 50K)
Fair point.....I didn't think about google.....kinda stupid But the length is perfect for my book thankyou. My book is now going to be classed as a novella
