My friend and I are preparing to write a comedy script for script frenzy this April, and would like to have cleared this up. The story is set in Britain, and is about a recently divorced stand-up comedian. He's only 25 and the marriage only lasted for 2 years. His wife used to be a porn star, but is now unemployed. They have a three year old daughter together. After he caught her doing drugs while she was supposed to be watching their daughter, he refuses to let her see her again and gets full custody of the kid. However, would he still have to pay alimony to her? Because if he doesn't, I have a really great scene planned out.
