#writingchat is a twitter even hosted by myself and two friends from 8-9 (UK time) each Wednesday evening. We set it up as a way for writers to connect with other writers in a friendly, helpful manner rather than just blasting social media with sales links. There's a different topic each time, tonight's is 'deadlines'. Everyone is welcome to join in by tweeting using the #writingchat hashtag. You can ask questions, make observations, offer advice or encouragement etc – anything connected with the topic.
