    Yeah, it's real

Discussion in 'New Member Introductions' started by Peter J Story, Oct 30, 2013.

When I introduce myself as a writer, people often ask if I'm using a pen name. No, I'm not. And, yes, it is a rather fitting name, thank you for saying so.

I've had an itch for writing since the third grade or so when my uncle gave my siblings and me a copy of Lord of the Rings. My initial efforts contained an alarming amount of hobbits, elves, and wizards. That or Star Trek related concepts--I loved Star Trek. I'd like to think my writing has matured somewhat since then.

Right behind you. No, really. Fine... Australia
Hello there. Feist has found a way occasionally to mix sci-fi concepts with fantasy, something I really enjoyed (as a Trekkie myself). Perhaps you will, too.

    Yeah, that sounds about right.

Yeah, so far it seems to be the nicest to use, though I'm not sure which other site you're referring to, as I'm on several right now. But shh, don't tell anyone that I'm recycling my intro on each forum.

    hehehe you're funny :D

You know, WF is the first writing forum I found when I first googled, and I haven't had a need to go anywhere else really. It's the only forum I'm on.

Welcome to the Forum. You are so lucky to have such an original and fitting name. I think there are at least twenty authors out there, if not hundreds, that share mine.

I wish you the best in your literary journey.
