    How do you procrastinate?

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Renaul, Dec 19, 2006.

I was wondering, when you are in the middle of writing something and you get to the point where you don't feel like you can continue or you get the impulse to push closer to deadline, what do you do?

Personaly I have a bad habbit of chatting on certian web boards about everything but what I should be writing. Perhaps now that I've said that I've committed myself to getting back to work, but I guess it works as a good ice breaker too.

I tend to bounce of other pple or I play a game like solitair or something else so my mind drifts. I listen to a lot of music as well.

I simply put it to the side if I can't keep writing. This gives me time to work on other projects and gives me a clearer head when I do turn back to the set aside project.

I cook, or listen to music. If there's no one around, I dance naked in the moonlight and sacrifice small children to Satan. :)

I don't understand. What do you mean by 'you don't feel like you can continue'.
