I loved Winnie-the-Pooh as a child, and still adore the cuddly bear (don't judge me. ;3). Seeing as how he was known to always crave 'just a small smackerel' of honey, I decided upon it. It hooked onto me for some reason.

Mine is leftover from when I was in college. We were assigned email addresses and user names based on our initials. Mine means Alaska Student, KCH (my initials), UAA (University of Alaska Anchorage). Bland, but it works.

Of course, now I'm married and have moved, so it's not even relavant...oh well.

"D A" is one of the following:

    Dog addict
    Dalmatian addict
    Da-lmatian

    Louise is my middle name.

    Nothing earth-shattering with that! :D

Well, mine is just one of the nicks that can be derived from my first name. Bet you can guess what that is! LOL

Xeno is a character in my (PLANNED!) novel.

    Who keeps changing.

I guess it's just a name that floats around my stories like a ghost, always something new yet slightly familiar.

And it's a form of Zeno of Elea, the greek philosopher, famous for his Paradoxes.

My username honestly doesn't mean much. I used to use the username "Valens" that an old friend gave to me. It means "strong" in Latin. So I believe there was already a Valens name taken, if I remember correctly, so I played around with the V sound and liked the sort of noble way "ValianceInEnd" sounded. It honestly means nothing more or deeper than that.

Actually it means "stranger". From the word "Xenos".

The word Ferengi is also derived from an Arabic word for "stranger". It was a name applied to foreign traders.

well my initials are MM and I happen to really like the color yellow but the yellow part actually came from a novel I'm (sort of) working on with a recurring theme (theme isn't quite the right word....but I can't think of anything better) of yellow roses.

contrary to popular belief my name actually has nothing to do with the candy, it always makes me laugh all the jokes about m&m's people make in the games and stuff after I post :)

Carmina is from "Carmina Burana" a cantata by Carl Orff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmina_Burana_(Orff) It is my favorite piece of music. Also...Carmina is a much more interesting name than Jennifer (my actual name).

Funny, that's exactly what I thought of when I saw your name.

And mine? Well, mine is really lame, and very, VERY childish. I'm pretty sure I made it two or three years ago for a private blog I was writing. I chose it merely because a bunch of my friends were getting too caught up with their problems at the time, some becoming self-destructive, and I decided to use the name "take control" just to remind myself not to become like that. I want to remind myself that no matter what is happening in my life, I can take control of it and help push it in the direction I want.

I am also really bad at thinking of names for sites like this, so I have a tendency to reuse one or two for years, which is why my juvenile name hasn't changed. I was considering "Leah Rose" for several reasons, but I didn't want people thinking my name was Leah. Weird, huh?

Ha, see, I wish I'd been as clever as you. Emily.... is my real name. Minus the dots. I just like dots.

Now, I really wish I could change it to Shay. Just because I like it so much better. *sigh* oh wells.

I thought that might be a reference to Carmina Burana! O Fortuna is great, but I love the second song in that one. It's so playful!

My best friend Kate saw a website for a Ransom Note Generator. She thought it was cool, I thought it was cool.

At the same point in time, we were trying to start up a DIY (do it yourself) web zine, and we needed a name. I thought of the name Ransom Note, because I thought it was cool, and we'd just been messing around with the generator recently.

The zine has yet to actually come to fruition, but at least a catchy username came out of it!

Also, Billy is my name. :)

My first name's Kyle and 7 and 3 are my favorite numbers (fave #s, odd, I know).
(the 3 refers to the three sevens)

Seven is mythologically tied to magic and luck and three is probably THE most common number to appear in my life (I tend to notice insignificant details like that).

So not the most interesting backstory, the username just fits me. So yeah...there ya go.
