    Well, it is a research thread. When does a research topic ever really die?

    Alexander the Great was placed in Honey to preserve his body, because honey doesn't spoil.

    Ceviche is fish "cooked" in lemon juice and whatnot.

    You could make a funny comment on food perservatives that "organic" people complain about. She could obtain some and bath her body and drink it. Thus, it's a flip on how it's bad for you.

    It's proven zombies have a keen sense of smell, and eyesight that works like a dinosaurs(Movement based). Maybe you could work this in?
