Turns out one of the rule sets I have already written, Total Conflict: Ground Control is alot more versatile that I originally hoped. Seriously, with the set up of unit traits I could probably convert an army/faction list from most types of games (read sci fi) and get it to work with in my system without much effort. I'm kinda stunned at this fact, honestly the document for the rules is rather chunky (over 100 pages I think) but consider it covers everything, aerial combat and deadly worlds to planets with different levels of gravity and emplacements and structures as useable pieces of cover, I think it's quite an achievement.
As in the 'May you live in interesting times' curse. I got a heap of work done, rejigging the shield rules for a fleet based game, and that was not fun. I got some work done on my stories, after a pretty serious edit, and the fanfics aren't left to rot just yet. I mean I should drop em, or give em to people, but I haven't made up my mind yet. I guess I could take a sojourn from them. What do you guys think? As for the other part, turns out I ran into an ex, and we still got sparks for the other... Yes, I know, ex, didn't work then, won't work now and the usual stuff, but honestly, I want to give it a chance, so I'll see if I can buy her lunch or something soon. If I' on here and really happy, well you know why.
Number One. Hmm, what to say, what to say. I make myself too busy, Balance and sci fi original work, fanfiction and the games I am developing, I guess I have no life when I add in work. Ah, well, any of you guys and gals interested in tabletop war games at all?
