Nyu

  1. So I'm a senior in high school - I'll be graduating this coming May. This past month I've been working on applying to scholarships and such, and in the process I've decided I want to go to New York University.

The only problem is that I fall below average on most of their standards. They're a highly selective school, but I know it's where I want to go. They accept less than 30% of the applicants. Their average ACT and GPA are 30 and 3.6. My ACT is 27 and my GPA is 3.3.

It's not impossible for me to get it, but chances are against me. This is quite a stressful time. Does anyone have any tips or advice for me that pertains to getting accepting into NYU?

    Thanks!
    Daniel

Persistence and optimism. I'm facing the same thing really. I want to go to Nottingham University, and I require 40 points on the IB, and am predicted about 38. That's not to say it's impossible for me to get in, but the odds are somewhat against me, and it's going to take a lot of work.

Best of luck to you Daniel, and if you set your mind to it, I'm sure you'll succeed :)

Unfortunatly Hard work. But if you're committed hard Work isn't that hard.

I wish you all the best and hope that you get into NYU but even if you don't there are plenty of other choices open to you.
