Quiet tv and washing machine that takes forever

  1. My tv has decided to be extra quiet tonight. There is probably a simple solution but I do not know what it is. It makes watching anything on that TV difficult. I can see what the characters in the movies are doing but I hear nothing other than my aquarium filter splashing water while filtering the same water.
    I am trying to do laundry but it has been running maybe half an hour or so and it is still running.
    The movie is an old sci-fi that was released in 1994. Wonder when in 1994 did that movie came out? I got a time traveling character who could not visit or anything from a day in August 1994 to I think sometime in 2019 or 2018 I need to go back to my story to remember what the exact days I made up.

    Finally I got my tv to make sound. I think the tv is too loud, probably. I do keep it at volume level 13 but probably a 7 would be better than 13 right now. I do still need to keep a check on laundry though. So not a good time to get too deep into the movie.
