    I am prime and singular and first.
    I am ever present and in the mix.
    I have no fear of center stage
    and the limelight is my sun.

    I gather followers like a bee gathers pollen.
    They cling to my legs in a strangely similar way.
    Need is my need and it seems ever abundant.

    There is a hint of the anxious about me.
    I like it that way.
    It is often mistaken for concern.
