An interesting thought

I had an interesting thought last night for a character. I've often thought about weaknesses in characters and realised I hate the idea of my characters being weak. I've managed here and there to find weaknesses for characters but not without grumbling why must he/she be weak.

So what about a character that in highly in tune with nature not nature as in all things flora and fauna. Just certain plants reacting to him. The plants seem to feed off of him where ever he goes, as though he is their sun. As he walks tendrils follow after him. So what's the weakness in that? Well if he was to stay still for to long the plants would grow upon him. So he is always moving when no one is there to look out for him he can't stay still to rest. no sleep for the poor man.

And now a question has it been done before?
