Begin again

I've been down this road before
I've walked these steps

and I've watched this over and over again​

All the times before I ran
I ran as fast I could to get to the end

and the end held nothing​

The road isn't how I remembered
There are turns and places that I've never been

and it scares me​

I heard somewhere - if you're always afraid, you'll never have a chance to be great
I want to be great

and I want this to work​

I will walk down this road
I will make this work

and the end will hold something​
