A story idea, that's all.
Cold Nervous Steel
First the convulsion, then shunned silence, and then light streak across your vision. Then it happens again, the convulsions, the silence, the blurred lights. Again and again and again. Until there is nothing, no movement of the body, no lights, and no sound. The sound that wasn't there before in the first place.
Then silence for what feels like an eternity, then suddenly the murmur of voices.
The murmur of steel doors opening. Eyes flash open quickly, as if the eyes were gasping for sight.
"What are you doing on the ground?" the very first piece of sound that was coherent to the brain and the ears.
The eyes blazed across the ceiling to whomever had opened the door.
It was one of the guards that held the person inescapable.
