Extended Synopsis Got me like Strangled cat in a blender

So here is my second blog update. To be honest it's much more of a mind splurge because I am stuck, People. Possibly I am also procrastinating, but that's beside the point. I'm having trouble with coming up with the second half of my extended synopsis.
For clarification purposes, I like to use the software "the Novel Factory", which helps you to create building blocks – a basic premise, a short synopsis, and extended synopsis, scenes and scene blocking, All leading to the first draft.
I love my premise, a short synopsis is fairly straightforward. But urgh! Extending it out is where you're supposed to let your imagination run wild and free, including all kinds of details but without going too far off the point. Instead and coming up with plot bunnies, plot holes and thinking maybe my premise is in fact ridiculous. Unless I change my approach (short synopsis) completely! Frustration Central.
Okay. I think I'm going to take the dog out for a walk, get some fresh air, and then just get on with it. Big girl pants are coming out…
