Nietzsche

My current obsession. I am repeating myself here. But I really want to write something of substance about this guy one day. I think he plays devil's advocate with our minds. Forcing us to challenge our assumptions.
Positives so far?
-artistic, loved music
-psychological insights
-fresh insights
-witty, funny
-shows us there is more than one way to think, not just the linear, logical model
-high energy
-well read on Greek culture
-encourages us to choose the lone path and think for ourselves
-live life to the full

Negatives so far?
-thinks Christians are losers
-sometimes the individual is not above the herd but actually below it
-too arrogant, sometimes the herd is right
-potentially dangerous if we take him too seriously
-mentally ill?
-makes fun of "conscience" but we need it more than he realises
