  1. Good news - work on my first novel is going OK, bad news, finding it hard to get started.

    The novel, untitled, sees a down-and-out reporter given a make or break assignment to expose the potentially dangerous civil war in a micronation based in the Northumbria countryside, but finds himself caught up in something much bigger...

    It needs work, I agree, hense the reasons why I have not really done very well in starting. I already have a plan for my 2nd novel, which will be called "Micheal." Oh, I'll let you know.

    I'm not sure you're in such a situation, but I know that it's really easy to get too many ideas to write about. With myself this is often the case and I find myself unable to write anything at all since I have so many ideas.

    My suggestion would be to concentrate on one idea before you move on to the next.
