Stay Awake

  1. Okay, at this moment, I'm completely out of energy. I haven't slept well for three nights, and it's really starting to show. I'm a night person, and I have to wake up very early. Sometimes I forget to go to sleep. >_<

    Anyway, my friend from Canada is here and very much wants to see me. She came today. Long story short, I met her online, we met in Japan last year, she fell in love with one of my best friends, they became an item and now, they met in Italy and just came to Finland moments ago.

    And I'm falling on my face. Completely dead. Unable to think of anything... let alone speak English for hours. Gah!

    How can I stay awake? I'm at work and I've had to rest my head against something twice already.

    Speak. English. For. Hours.

    The only good thing is that we're going to a Japanese restaurant. :-D I don't have to talk that much.

    Anyway, I'm just trying to survive this evening...

    ugh! I so know what you are going through. I don't sleep much, months ago now, I never used to sleep at all. I'd go weeks without sleeping. But it get so hard at times to function properly. I hope that the evening goes well. Maybe have an energy drink, it will help a little...

    Coming from a fellow insomniac, I don't sleep much either. I know what you're going through. I suggest one of two things:

    - If you must stay awake, have caffeine, and a LOT of it.
    - If you would like to sleep, try a sleeping pill. Now, maybe you're not so big on sleeping pills (due to liver issues), but there are many organic pills that 'promote' sleep.

    Excellent advice, dear fellow writers. :-D Especially the last one. Hih! Oh, I'm not really an insomniac. I just tend to forget to go to sleep. :) And then I have to wake up really early.

    And the evening went perfectly. It was a lot of fun to meet my Canadian friend. She's so tiny. And so very adorable.
