The rants are starting in five...four...three...two...one...zero...negative one...START!!!

My very best friend just moved halfway across the country to stay with her dad for the school year [where she goes every summer anyway] because they have a better Math program there. Just before she left for the summer, we had our first fight ever. [We've been friends for years.] I didn't contact her all summer. She came back to her mom's for one day, since her brother was staying with their mom for the school year, and we hung out for most of that day. However, we didn't get to do any of the things we loved to do together except talk. With her parents looming over us. I'm heartbroken over the fact that I have no way to contact her except snail mail. I really want to write her, but I don't know what I would say. I know this would be much easier if I could visit her in person, but the only way that will happen is if I get a plane ticket between now and Christmas Break, which I'd never have the money for. This probably sounds trivial, I know, but even though I'm making new friends, I don't feel like I should because of how messed-up my relationship with her is.
