Thoughts for Fictional Book on Pirates

I want to write a book about Pirates. This comes from an inside joke a group of my friends and I have, and we've even assigned each other positions on the ship! Recently I've though of expanding on this idea, considering what pirates are and how as Christians, we raid, pillage, and plunder the Enemy's ships for what he stole and robbed from us...security, love and identity. As Christians we are also called to seek for the hidden treasure in people, bringing out the talents and gifts that they have hidden inside of them but haven't accessed. This book will present both of these scenarios, and have fun celebrating freedom and friendship!

I want to write this book because pirates are something that people have fun with. Also because a positive view on raiding, pillaging, and plundering is not common. In presenting it in a positive light I laugh at the sense of irony. However, in an allegorical sense it shows how people help each other to get to their breakthroughs, and it will also celebrate the beauty and bond of friendship.
