zombies
in a world where killing people- good or bad- sparks a butt-load of moral ambiguity zombies provide the means to satisfy that intrinsic desire for carnage with zero guilt. they're the target practice of horror, and it's a rocket ride testing the limits of extreme violence against these individuals. Dawn of the Dead even took the leap of killing a newborn zombies
and like everything else, it progresses with our culture- scientifically and...everything else. first there was the walking, stumbling tards no one seemed to be able to side-step. then I think it was "28 Days Later" that started the whole running zombies thing. that was awesome. you can shrug your shoulders and finish your meal if a bunch of zombies were coming at you at grand-pappy speed, but you crap your pants and run in them when there's a bunch of tireless Olympic cannibals grabbing at your ***. It's coming, and you know it. that's right. FLYING ZOMBIES. if your having trouble picturing this, think nasty, six feet tall flying roaches with mange that vomit consistently buzzing around your face.
i'm just waiting for that one perfect zombie movie that combines epic plot with gore and violence. something so off the wall unexpected and fulfilling it'll start a religion
