If I'm allowed to die today
I should be allowed to live
It's time to stop my crying now
And take the time to give

Not to others--I can't bare
But to my soul I've ignored
Reach into what warmth I had
And even that has grown cold

If I am to truly live today
Then be it so alone
Cause theres no such thing as being lonely
When you're truly in your home
