    Are You Published?:
    Yes, Tradition
Love to read, love to write. I like that which someone dubbed "literary fiction," and that's the kind that few read, fewer buy, and is seldom even published. In other words, I write because I love it. Nothing is more fulfilling to me than wrapping up a story or poem, prose poem, flash, whatever.

I was a late bloomer; I didn't start writing until age thirty-five. A year later, a "lit mag" published a story I'd written called "Real Hair." I've also published a poem in a paper-and-ink magazine, and article, an interview.... Online, a story in Terrain. Twice in Terrain, actually, as they brought the first story back for an issue called "Best of Terrain." There have been several others - Pequin, Xelas (now defunct); AppalTalk; Oysters & Chocolate... etc.

I've written my butt off. Wrote a novel, an epic poem, typed an entire John Updike novel into my word processor - a glutton for self-torture.

In 2009 I suffered a severe burnout and haven't written much of anything since. It's 2013, and I'm ready to start writing again!

    Reading, Writing, Guitar, walking.
