Hello. My name is Lu. I'm in my twenties and I live in the countryside in the middle of England. I prefer to live a quiet life. I love my pets, particularly my rats. My life has been thoroughly ruined by mental illness, but I have kept a tight grip on my childhood love of writing. There may be times when I disappear for days on end. Such is life.
My preferred genres fall under the spec-fic umbrella. I vacillate between loving short stories or wanting desperately to finish a longer piece. I'm one of those writers that enjoys research. In fact, one of my favourite things about writing is the new things it lets me learn. I have lost so much to mental illness, but writing allows me some sense of agency. I learn, therefore I am.
