So, a little bit about me...
Well, I'm currently in high school and I've been writing for about 12 years now, obviously starting off with smaller pieces about being "super spies" or "dragon slayers". That's what you get when you give a 5 year old a pencil and paper.
I've written more than I can even remember, mostly just small short stories or the occasional poem. I mostly write Fantasy or Science Fiction, but I like to mix it up sometimes. Last year I won some awards in my school's literary magazine: second place for Prose, and third place for Poetry. I was also the magazine's copy editor, so I've done my fair share of critiquing and editing.
Most likely, I won't be posting a ton of my own work too soon. I'm still trying to steer myself in the right direction with some things I'm working on, but once I've got them figured out I may ask for some critiquing from all of you lovely people. Of course, I'll be out and about, critiquing pieces I find in the Workshop. Hopefully I'll be able to help some of you with your writing.
From a non-writing standpoint, I'm just a normal teenage guy. Writing takes up a lot of my life, but when I'm not writing I can be found playing the guitar, hanging out with my friends, or reading. My adolescent years seem to be passing me by fast, but I'm doing my best to make the most of them.
So...that's a little about me. If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask. Thanks in advanced for welcoming me into the forums, and I hope to work with you all real soon.
