Recent, sudden health issues have forced my lifestyle to change from a productive, busy, many interests, always on the go, workaholic existence to a sedentary, lonely, stay-at-home, boring, barely functioning non-existence. Yeah, it sucked.

After a couple of months of moping adjustment and unsuccessfully fumbling my way through different types of crafts, I finally experienced one of those glorious Ah Ha!! moments. I had time now, so much time dedicated to naught but showering, dressing, and other random daily living necessities. I finally had time to pursue my most often attempted and repeatedly interrupted life-long dream.

I can write now!! Whoa. Time to discard the mopey mask, stop the fretting, and delete that "non" from my existence. I had first tried my hand at writing in my pre-teen years and have since made hundreds of attempts at story telling only to be ever so rudely interrupted by life itself. Well, life has now lost its ability to interrupt me and I've decided to forge headlong into my greatest dream.

My life may have had a sudden, drastic change, but not necessarily for the bad. Some bad changes really do end up becoming amazingly good changes. Just this month I finished and self-published my first short story as a kindle book. And I'm currently on page 200 of my second book, which I'd initially thought would be another short story but seems to have a mind of its own and won't stop growing.

Part One of My Life may have been busy and full, but now I'm thinking it really wasn't all that great. Part Two is just starting and has already surpassed Part One on the greatness scale. Can't wait to see what happens next.
