I was born in 1932, was placed under the control of the Jewish Child Care Association of New York City until I was 18. I lived in foster homes and institutions except for two brief times I lived with my mother and step-father. I joined the Army in 1950, retired from the military in 1971, worked in data processing and retired in 1997. I am divorced, have three children, and eight grandchildren.
I have a New Yorker's attitude enhanced by age and experience. I write. I have a website, espresso machine, and 8 grandkids. I dislike crowds, noise, standing in line, and most TV programs. I love Chinese/Jewish/Italian food, classical/jazz music, bull sessions with friends, and desert sunsets.
I’d rather not be in the front office. Put me in the back room with a Pentel 0.5mm mechanical pencil, a lined paper pad, an espresso machine, and Herbie Mann blowing cool. Ah—it doesn’t get any better. Well, I could add Japanese Wood Block prints on the wall facing me.
