I was always fascinated by pre-gunpowder history from an early age, especially that of Ancient Rome. I also loved geography, and would learn the countries of the world and was fascinated by maps. The map for my ancient world is the first thing I created before anything else. I enjoy reading fantasy and historical fiction and noticed how few books there are with no magic or fantasy elements, but set in a fictional world.
And now this whole story sprung from my head, inspired by the Punic Wars. The world is constantly expanding with new history and ideas. I have dreams of different story arcs taking place on different parts of the world I've made. I've been writing a novel since the end of 2014, and am currently in the process of re-writing it, and planning a parallel story. I hope that someday I will be able to realise it all, because I am strangely sure that this is the only story I will ever write.Interact
