I write about the economy during the day, and if I'm not totally exhausted, I like to write dark, twisted fiction at night.
I personally think I have what it takes to be published, but am a little scared of rejection.
So for now, I plan to turn my fiction into scored audio recordings and release them to the public for free. I already make a decent living writing, so I'm not looking for fame and fortune. I don't need it. Still, it would be nice if I could reach a wider audience than family members and close friends.
I love to read, but am sporadic in doing so. I can go for months on end without picking up a book. I can also read nonstop, doing almost nothing else in my spare time for a month or two at a time.
I PROBABLY should return on the ADD meds I abandoned mid-college, but am trying to do the hard work of being a more attentive reader and more organize writer on my own, without chemical enhancement.
I'm also an avid cinemaphile (yes, I realize that the standard way of saying that is cinephile, but to me that sounds like some sort of deviant sexual pathology.)
I hope to network with other writers my own age here and who knows, maybe even find some new friends to physically hang out with I-R-L, as the kids say these days.Interact
