I have always loved reading and used to write when I was younger and then work took over and I stopped for over 30 years. Now I'm starting on a wish list. I am working less (self-employed now), learning Irish, travelling (I've recently camped for the first time) and writing again. My three children are grown but I have 2 grandchildren (daughter's) and another baby due (a son's). I love writing when I'm in flow but I really struggle to get to my desk and write. I suppose I miss the self discipline of formal work. Still I would really like to learn the craft of writing and develop some self-belief in myself before I'm much older
