I’m an American expat living and working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

If you’re reading this in the continental US, then I’m writing from between 12 and 15 hours in the future. We don’t have flying cars – yet. But you’ll be relieved to hear the zombie apocalypse has been delayed yet another day. Maybe.

I write fiction, nonfiction, and copy (which is sometimes a little bit of both).

I draw with pen and ink. I paint with watercolors and acrylics. I have a Wacom tablet and I know how to use it. I enjoy printmaking but only when I don’t have to figure out how to obtain and maintain the necessary equipment.

I write copy for Mindvalley by day. I manage the The Renegade Word, a blog for creative writers, by night. And sometimes I post flash fiction on Twitter.
