Being a public school teacher and a writer, it's obvious that money is not important to me. Actually, many things aren't very important to me, except coffee and sleep - which seem to be contradictory allies.

Also, I couldn't be happier that the human race has developed the technology to program spell checking software into text boxes on the internet (like this one here). I believe there is nothing we can't do.

And, finally, I have decided that being published in a) the city newspaper and b) the local quarterly journal is not enough to be considered a "published writer," no matter how much I think it is.
