Mara Pearce

I have a lot of hobbies, my fiance says too many. I am a full time head lifeguard/swimming instructor. I own a beautiful thoroughbred mare named Bella who is a decedent of the famous Seabuiscut. We train 4 days a week and compete in eventing (like a triathlon of horse shows dressage, stadium jumping, and cross country). When I am not working or riding I also compete in half marathons and get a lot of stress out through running. In the few minutes of the day that remain after those activities are done I read excessively and scrapbook. Then on the odd day I have time I work on writing my novel about a downed Canadian airman in Belgium during the Second World War and a girl in a pro-nazi family who finds him. I am hoping that this will put the BA in military history that I got to use, as I definitely do not use it to lifeguard.
