I am an undergraduate student majoring in psychology. I hope to go to medical school in the future. Obviously psychiatry is one option, but I'm also interested in osteopathy, as well as endocrinology.

I love to write, obviously. I started writing stories when I was a kid, one story in particular I'm still working on, though it has greatly evolved from when I wrote it originally. I love all forms of writing and art for that matter. I'm in love with mostly western art, mostly because I'm not very knowledgeable about much else, which I think is to be expected from an American whose ancestors came from Europe.

I'm a musician, I have played the piano for a long time. I'm very grateful to my patient mother for painstakingly taking the time to teach me, a stubborn rebel. I have been playing the cello for almost ten years. While I played in a youth orchestra for a while, I play mostly for enjoyment now. If you're going to be a classical musician, you really have to do it simply because you love it. It's not a career that is unrewarding, but it is one that won't be filled with fame and riches, usually.

I have a great love and appreciation for classical music, although I listen to a wide variety. I like jazz, rock, pop, and almost every other genre. I listen mostly to alternative music, mostly because it's the category all the music that nobody knows how to classify goes into. Some of my favorite composers and artists are Rachmaninoff, Gershwin, the three 'b's (Bach Beethoven and Brahms), Stravinsky, A Day to Remember, Crystal Castles, M83, Snow Patrol, Pierce the Veil, Pendulum, Daft Punk, My Chemical Romance, Imogen Heap, and Frank Sinatra. Music is a constant obsession for me.

My favorite movie will always be Gone With the Wind, with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh. I'm not sure why I like it so much, but it never bores me. I also love Sucker Punch, which wasn't really a popular movie, in fact most critics didn't like it. I've never found anyone else that really enjoys this movie like I do. However, I'll admit, the first time I saw it I hated it. The second time though, I loved it. The second time I watched the extended version, which definitely made a difference, but also this movie is confusing because it has different levels of reality. Yeah...I know, geeky. I have to mention Inception because well, it's Inception. Where would we be without Rogers and Hammerstein? I guess this counts as music too. My favorite musical would probably have to be South Pacific.

I tend to be too intense, but I guess since this isn't an in person introduction, this will be masked. Or maybe putting it in writing only increases it. Oh well. Please don't hold back at all when commenting, I'm no professional, just an amateur and a student. Thanks for any feedback you may have!
