I am a 41 y/o wife and mother of 3. My children are older and I finally have the time to focus on myself and my healing. If you continue to read my posts you will see for yourself the struggles I have overcome or at least thought I had. It's a hard realization when your past comes back to smack you in the face. It is unpleasant at best.

I will say for some, reading my posts could be triggering if you went through a similar situation. I plan to share my past trauma as well as how it has affected me through out my life. Coping mechanisms, characteristics that I have picked up along the way. All of my, shall we say oddities or quirks. Habits and fears that I still carry with me. It is not an easy thing to share or to re-live as that is what I will be doing as I post more stories from my past. I am so very aware there are millions of people in this world whose stories are worse than mine. However, with that being said this is my story the way I remember it. With no one to tell me that I shouldn't say things because its a family secret. I am blowing that secret and these wounds wide open because it is what is best for me!
