Hi. My name is Paddy Murphy.
I am a person who cares far too much about video games. Not just the actual games themselves mind you, but the industry itself and many of the issues surrounding the writing and portrayal of video game characters.
In the past I've worked as a video game creator, bringing over a dozen games to release on various platforms including the Playstation 3, PSP and PC. In 2012 I was voted one of the top 30 video game developers in the world under 30 by Develop Magazine.
More recently, I've been a video game journalist for Gamepinion.org and PlayerAttack.com. I cover news and reviews, while also drafting some more personal issues in articles and features.
I have decided to become a professional writer, having won Emerald Gore Society's horror short story contest for my piece, Ensnared. At present, I'm working on a short for the Writers Village, as well as several submissions for horror anthology's with a variety of publishers.
I welcome critique and feedback for my pieces, so please get involved and let me know what I can do to better my writing.
Thank youInteract
