Bournemouth is an ideal place for a writer. It's got that balance between human civilisation and nature pretty much spot on. In one day you can do your shopping, and walk through the New Forest and along the beach. There's something about the pine trees, slow worms that look like snakes and colourful, thorny plants scattered amongst the sand that gives it an unusually exotic character.
There's an element of warmth and security to the place, where often it seems the only danger lurking is in the seagulls that nab your chips on the promenade.
For me, most of life seems to be this ever present setting and place. But sometimes, stories happen...Interact
