I have been writing fiction since I started Grammar School (UK High school) many, many years ago. Even back then, I was fascinated by the Science Fiction genre, so for the last 20 years plus that's what I write.

Like most of you I'm sure, life has persistently denied me time and energy to write, so my submissions have been few and far between, but I have been rejected by some of the best in the field. :)

And despite long absences (sometimes years would go by) sooner or later I find myself back at the keyboard searching for the right words. I do have a wealth of, mostly, unfinished stories.

Then 2012 happened. It was a great year for my writing. The story I submitted to the Writers of the Future contest received an Honorable Mention and I finished the first draft of a novel, something I'd never done before.

I am looking forward to being a part of this community.

Science Fiction - books and TV, games mostly RPG, cats and knitting
