To say I am complicated is an understatement. I guess that is why I am currently writing a series of childrens / young adults or what I call former childrens books. Each approximatley 70K words. Each moving at pace. I dont do long winded and pointless!
For the readers greater understanding I have also written 5 what I call satelite books that under pin the main series of books.
I beleive in depth and richness in stories. Complexity is fine but I take a leaf out of Mr Tolkiens books. Describe everything concisely, that way you can fit more in and in my opinion children of today have a huge capacity to understand complex story lines. As proven by JK Rowling.
All that said and done, my greatest influence is Dahl as nobody could deliver complexity wrapped in simplicity to children than he.Interact
