My name is Ryan, and I live with my wife in Indiana. I'm a shy person, and I keep to myself. Social interaction makes me very anxious, so I tend to withdraw from people. I am not an aggressive person, I don't drink or smoke or do any drugs, and I have no tattoos. I try to be nice to everyone.
I've been writing songs, poems, and narrative fiction since I was about 10. I've written five books, and I'm just now trying to publish one for the first time. The King's Eagle is a 53-thousand-word novella in high fantasy genre. If forced to compare to anyone, I'd say it fits in with Tolkien, R.A. Salvatore, and George R.R. Martin. I plan on publishing it through Amazon and CreateSpace.
I've been playing music since I was 6. I play piano, guitar, bass, and a little bit of drums, as well as strumstick, harmonica. I also sing. I listed my YouTube channel as my website because I don't have a formal website. On my channel, you'll find hundreds of original songs as well as a few vlogs about silly things.
I like many different kinds of music, but my tastes tend toward rock. I really enjoy The Smashing Pumpkins, Eels, Camera Obscura, Jurassic 5, Children of Bodom, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody of Fire, Epica, Nightwish,and Dragonforce, to name a few.
I love language and conlanging. I developed a constructed language for The King's Eagle (and related stories). The language is called Imnura, and I blog about it every Monday. You can read my Imnura blog, Emnor Ilirpaliora, here:
