Well, my name's Eric. I'm a 27 year old English teacher from Pennsylvania.

I graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a degree in English, though I must admit I haven't done much writing since then. I've been spending the majority of my post-undergrad years traveling around Europe, most of that time being spent working as an English teacher in Germany. However, right now I am back home working in the States.

I've spent long time away from writing.. even back when I was writing, it rarely went further than a few essays and some poetry in college. However, I've always had it in the back of my mind that I wanted to write a novel, and I think I am at a point in my life where I need to decide whether I am a novelist or not. That's the reason I'm here now.

I'm hoping this forum will be helpful for me in learning about the process of writing, as well as being a place to express ideas and concerns, hearing of other people's experiences, and getting to know other writers! Feel free to send me a message if you like!
